Iphone Apps Review

IPhone Apps - the stars I use to rate them are based on: how often I use it, ease of use, and price.

Snapture- this app enables your iphone camera to do lots of cool things- take black and white photos, sephia photos, 3 photos with 1 tap, and zoom functions. I think I paid $2 for it, overall, a great buy and pretty easy to use.
Four stars
Four square- basically just lets you “check-in” and let people know what bar/ restaurant you are currently hanging out at. Free, downloaded due to a mention on Paul Ryburns’s blog. I honestly just don’t have much opportunity to use it and it seems a bit pointless.
Three stars
Crosswords- hmmm, exactly how it sounds. They are usually too hard for me and I haven’t used it in a while. It’s easy to use at least.
Three and ½ stars
Scrabble- again, exactly how it sounds. You play against the computer, and it’s fun if you are bored at home or waiting in a line somewhere. Easy to use. I think I paid $3 for it.
Four stars
Bank of America- this application makes checking my balance and transferring my money between checking/ savings a complete breeze! Free
Five stars
Geico- I can pull up my insurance card in a second with this application or even pay my bill. I don’t use it often, but it’s a neat function to have. Free.
Four stars
The Sims 3- a mobile version of the popular game. Very easy to use, very addictive, and a total suck of your time. $10
Four stars
Wurdle- another word puzzle game. Fun, good for when you are stuck somewhere with nothing else to do (shopping, in the car passenger seat, at lunch with co-workers you are trying to ignore). I think it was a $1 or $2.
Four stars
Pandora- great app, but Im just not a huge fan. I rarely use it bc I just like the music already in my itunes better. Free.
Four stars
Inap at work- silly app that makes typing, cubicle noises while you take “a nap” at work. Has pretty realistic noises and is easy to use, I just downloaded bc I thought it sounded funny. I don’t use it for it’s intended purpose. $1.
Two stars
Clue- based on the classic board game. I found it too hard to use to enjoy it. $5.
One star
Monolopy- based on the classic board game. Easy to use, several different levels of skill, lots of fun although can be a bit of a time suck if you get real into it. $5.
Five stars
Echofon- the app I use to access twitter and post my way to many tweets. Easy to use, I actually like it better than the original twitter website. Free.
Five stars
Kindle for Iphone- THE BEST APP EVER. It turns your iphone into a Kindle, you can download and read books right on your phone! I am TOTALLY addicted. I read 3 – 4 books a week on this thing. Prices for best sellers are usually $5- $10, sometimes they will be on special for a few weeks for free to generate some interest after a recent release. Free for the app, various charges for books.
Five Stars
Movies by Flixster- so easy to use, makes finding a movie to see in your area at the theater so simple. Free.
Five stars
Facebook- The second best app ever. I use it neurotically all the time. Makes accessing FB on your phone much easier than going thru the full website via safari. Free.
Five stars
Pocket God- interactive game, got old and boring really quickly. $5
Two stars

What applications do you have? What are your favorite and least favorites?
